Having this problem with a system that I just can't seem to get my head around.
The basics:
I replaced a mainboard in a system and now can't the printing to work.
there is no errors with the Spool service.
I have repaired the installed, nuked all old drivers etc numerous times.
Done everything I can think of !
I have verified the printer is working correctly (lexmark & Dymo) on a clean installation on D: drive.
The problem is after a fresh instal the printer softweare will send some data -say 25-55% - then the thing just stops. No errors thrown up.
It also takes an age & reboot to delete the printing task.
This happens with any size/type of task.
I can't do a clean install on the old XP, its impossible without causing some really major hassle.
Anyone know a way to just reinstall the spool service ?
