I've been having problems with my printer for a while now. Ive got an epson stylus photo 2100. Basically when I attempt to print anything colour the colours are all wrong, I've jsut attempted to print a photo and it has a pink tinge to it all. I've tried running the cleaning utlities and things that are on the printing preferences menus with no luck.

What im guessing its down to is that I've got some non epson ink installed, but the ink is from a company that have big adverts in the big photography magazines and have had really good reviews from magazines which is why I went with it,which makes me think maybe its not that at fault.

Apart from buying a whole new set of epson inks for it which is pretty expensive, does anybody have anything I can try to rectfy it?

Thanks

Simon

I was getting some strange colour results from my R200 and it was suggested that I try a printer profile from Here . Once it was installed and configured I had much better results. I think the Epson profiles are (strangely enough) very optimised for their inks and papers

Are you using a Continuous Ink System? or just replacement cartridges? Have you changed the cartridges latley? Is it possible that you have the wrong cartridges in the wrong "slots"? Did you try a head clean? Sorry for all the questions. But a friend of mine installed a CIS and mixed up he ink lines he ended up with crazy colours.
