Prison Break to get 4th Season?

I was watching this interview with dominic purcell (lincoln) hes on about this writers strike or whatever causing season 3 to only have 13 episodes

saying that theres ment to be 22 episodes and hints at season 4

and than they were on about doing some spin off, a womens prison breakout

imo season 3 has been pretty cack thus far

Agree with that. First season was great and probably would have been even better if it had finished at the mid point as was originally planned (season was extended during the filming) leaving a tight well paced programme. Second season started well but just kept getting sillier and sillier and gave up in the end.

if they finished season 2 a few episodes earlier (when the president was on the tv)
then it wold have been one of the greatest shows ever, but then it all just got really silly.

im enjoying it all, i think the characters are very strong and the actors playing them are top notch. im open for change with the plot, im just enjoying the ride without getting too itchy about its direction. i love the show

i dont think its too bad, just too many gaps ere and there nowadays, cant see it ever being as good as season1 though, the whole tattoo thing was just unreal. Theres no masterplan anymore really, whcih is a shame cos thats what was the best.

Could be worse, could have gone as anal as lost did.

Season 1 was awesome. I thought towards the middle season 2 got a little boring, but towards the end it picked up. Season 3 I really like, not as good as season 1, but still keeps me entertained.

season 2 spoiler...

I thought season 2 was absolutely amazing until just after that young one was killed by the cop. After that they started dragging it out with unrealistic endings just to keep the characters alive.

The original plan of having it end at the end of season two would have been much better. Don't think I've ever said that about a show I enjoyed as well.

I'm not sure usually the show producers always have to show they can incorporate a way to extend it should it be a ratings hit to guarantee funding from the network. I'm pretty sure the original plan was to have the last season on the run but I could be wrong.
