Hi all,

In our house we have windows overlooking the street where people can of course look in - we have the same problem in our kitchen, window and neighbouring houses can look in.

What are the best options for giving us some privacy? I saw some privacy adhesive films (that you can see through) and maybe a roll down blind on top for the evenings - or should I just get some net curtains?

What would be a good option for the kitchen window?

Depends if your windows are uPVC or wood and how handy you are? I'd suggest considering whizzing the glass out and swapping it for laminated and toughened frosted. You can buy the frosted / patterned in 5 different strengths depending on how private you want to be.

Changing units in uPVC is incredibly simple and cost is not that high especially given the extra security.

I'm quite handy, and the windows are uPVC; do you have an example of the frosted glass? Just want to make sure I'm googling it right
