Pro Cycling Discussion 2016

Another big crash for contador today. Gilbert had me laughing about the gc boys being unable to ride bikes. Tomorrows finish is going to be interesting that's for sure.

Interesting that la Vuelta seems pretty well policed from a crowd point of view. The Tour de France could learn a lot from this. Apparently spectators may face arrest if they attempt to run alongside the riders. Police blowing whistles at those who encroach. Good job from the Spanish police so far.

Vuelta is always well policed tbh. Or for as long as I can remember it's been this good.

i hope movistar can do there job and keep the team at the top.

i dont mind sky as a team but there is just something about the slimy froome

It's the English commentry that constantly bang on about him as some plucky Columbian kid tears him a new one.

Anyway, great stage and top riding from Quintana.

Meh. Froome is the better rider to date - his palmares speak for themselves. We'll see where things are in a fortnight. The time trial will likely change everything. Besides, it's no wonder Quintana is fresher than Froome, given he did naff all at the tour. I'll bet the Columbian commentary was equally insufferable during the tour when Quintana was getting battered by a plucky Kenyan...

But yeah, still a good ride by Quintana.

Aye it was proper racing where everyone was attacking all over the place and getting dropped. Its the sort of racing everyone wants to see, fantastic.

great stuff indeed - Movistar absolutely buried themselves for Quintana today so will be interesting to see how much they have in the tank for the rest of the week.

Interesting comments from Quintana. Can't see it ever happening with Cycling trying to come into the 21st Century now...

Can see why they want it with Skys domination using it, but think there would be too many objections across the pack. Also considering Quintana had a proper ganders at his computer prior to his attack on Monday seems a bit conflicting.
