Pro Evo 2008 PS3

So purchased this game earlier as I loved the series, but I mean WTF is up with the PS3 version? Unless it's just my game that is messed up, but there is constant slow down and online play well that was like playing on a 28k modem.

Is this common at the moment or is my game ******

I've only played the demo so can't comment on the full game, the demo ran very smooth indeed during gameplay, no noticeable fps issues. The replays though are a different story, they were jerk-o-vision.

I've heard if you install the game to your HDD first it runs TONS better, I won't be able to try this out for myself until Monday when I get the game.

I've only played a few games on my copy. I found the offline smooth-ish apart from the odd replay. Online is a different matter, lag in the gameplay and in replay's. I really hope the online patch they are working on (you see a message saying this when you logon) comes soon. Else I will get rid of this game. It's a great game, but unless the lag is sorted out its just an offline game, which isn't what I (and many many others) paid for.

This is true. Installing the game does help a lot.
