Right firstly does anyone play it online on the ps3?

Secondly and much more importantly, is it possible to stop people being complete tools and just picking the best teams in the game (forcing me to be one of them too despite it being 0% fun) as i quite like playing as NI, aston villa, blackburn and stoke (they make you play propperly and not hammer it to the good player and shoot).

Finally, when did andy johnson join fullham/how can i put him back in as them (as he wasnt there on my online team sheet, though i could have sworn he was on single player) as he makes fullham really playable.

(yeah this follows on from the rage quitting thread as iv never experenced an online game that causes this much frustration)
 
hi, having played pes 2008 i had this problem ALL the time, and its pretty much the same on fifa 2009 when i pick aston villa the other guy usually proceeds to pick man utd or barca or some other 5 star team *YAAAAWN*(although if you keep exiting/entering you may find someone sporting).

even though i aint played pes09 i have no doubt this happens and will carry on in all football games until a good system is implemented, for instance an option just to play people with 4 stars or less might work.
 
Thank god im not the only one who thinks its out of hand! Though thats ruled out a trip to go get fifa09 either way....
 
personally i think fifa is a good game, but can be very frustrating at times and i can never get my team to play exactly how i want. pes on the other hand is lots of fun and my team plays how i want it to.

majority of people will favour fifa for its graphics and licences which is fair comment but cant help think when i play fifa i could be having more fun playing pes.
 
Meh i havnt owned a fifa game in many years (fifa 96 i think), but iv enjoyed a lot of pes games recently (out side of the licences more than anything else).

I think iv just got to stick at it and hope i get more resonable players, and find out why the other main team people like to be is turkey.... (mainly as they seem pretty easy to beat as ni... :))

Hate to say it bud, but before this year my previous Fifa game was '99. This year I went and bought a PS3 specifically for Pro, and ditched it within 2 months; it was just so frustrating! Bought Fifa since and have spent far, far too much of my time on it!

Maybe try and set up a thread in here of PES players though? At least then you'll have a few respectable players to play against :)
 
This team moaning is really starting to get silly,

If you support a top 4 team why should you not play as them just because your oppositan is using a team that on stats is worse? On Fifa ive been using liverpool but beaten by villa or sometimes smaller club as they can out play me at times.

Dont get me wrong i think if the openent is using e.g. 1 star team and your 5 yes its abit harsh but not every one who uses top clubs is doing it to be harsh/annoy you.

Rant over, i used fifa as reference as its only football game i play + ppl moan about same thing in pes.

There are plenty of tactics to beat the top teams and it's all the more fun when you do!

im not really on about liverpool or arsenal though, as like you say they can be beat with villa.

but its the 5 star gold teams are really such a pain and bore to play against with their ronaldos and eto's scoring without relying on much skill. and dont tell me these people support the teams cause most of the time when the game loads up it starts with their favourite team and then they select man utd etc even though ive selected ready with villa.

i know a minority probably do support these 5 star gold teams but it seems 90% of the time they are selected, seems people just want an easy ride.

Is there any commentary updates on PS3 for the game?

- It is on PC but there such commentary availible for the PS3? Love the louder crowd... overall the gameplay just sounds better...

Hahaha no worries! Im interested in this idea to!! I really doubt it would be on the ps3 though (release a new game instead....)

Think i might try and start some sort of pes09 "resonable players" group too :D
