Well want a football game and Pro Evo 5 seems to be the best one.

Questions

-What's the best controller to play on the PC with?
-Seen a cheap controller for £8 will this be ok? or is it best to go exspensive?

BIG FAVOUR: I am at uni and the internet is appauling. I have been lookig through some posts and people are highly recommending the Superpatch.
someone said it was about 600mb. Is it possible for someone to download it for me and send it to me though the post?

I know it's a lot to ask but I thought I may aswell try.

Thanks

Hard to get this superpatch now.

Some one stopped it, because some one was saying it was illegal etc..

So its really hard to get..

I'm using the usb to ps2 converter with a proper ps2 pad and it's perfect. I jsut had to set up the keys once to make sure they were the same and that's it.

Oh and I've never used the superpatch. The SGN one does me fine and the size is piddly, which is nice. It's a while 1.2mb :D

Good luck finding the link(If you do post it). The PESFAN one is great in my opinion. Only 1.2mb and gives all upto date team data.

On the controller issue I just use a cheap controller and it works fine. Just started again on 6* and top of the league at the moment.

Goals are so satisfying in this game.

Using a PS2 dual adapter here no probs. Every control is the same as its ps2 counterpart. :)

Thats wierd.
All the controls are the same but If I'm using the D-pad and I do a long ball from within my own half it kicks it in the opposite direction but its fine with the analog stick.

For the controller, i would say get a PS2 controller and an adapter.

The superpatch is fine unless you want to play online, if you want to play online, you can only play against people who also have the superpatch installed.

There is a thing called KitServer which gives you all the real kits, and still allows you to play online fine, so I would recommend that if you are worried about some teams having plain kits.

I think the PS2 one is the best. Its just a matter of opinion really.

If you are used to pro evo on the PS2, get a PS2 controller

I used to love the PS2 controller (had PS2 since launch... hell, had a Dual Shock controller from launch on PSone (with Gran Turismo) and have a USB PS2 adapter, and whilst it's good, it just isn't as responsive, solid and comfortable as the Xbox360 pad :(.

Hmmm, i wouldnt really know. I have only used the xbox controller on an xbox, and didnt notice any differences in responsiveness.

I think when it comes to using it on a PC, it helps that the Xbox controller plugs directly in, while the PS2 one goes via an adapter, i dont know whether that may effect the responsiveness. Although i have to say I have never had any problems with my PS2 pad on my PC, the only time I have had problems is after I have thrown the controller at the wall and it smashes into pieces, then it tends to have problems working.
