Hi Peeps,

This is is really frustrating. I have installed the XBCD drivers and chosen the recommended setup file (xboxtriggersseperate.xgi). I have also tried the working_xbox_360_setup.xgi, However L1 & R1 will not work, If you have the above setup please tell me how you managed to get the L1 & R1 triggers working.

I have looked in the other Pro evo 6 thread but couldn't see it mentioned.

Thanks

Pdog

30 views and no replys :) Someone must be palying pro evo 6 with the 360 controller?

Have you used settings config (in the installation folder or in the pes directorry of the start menu) to config the buttons?? This is the way i got the triggers to work - although i cant actually increase the defence stance of my team (but can the attack stance) perhaps this is because i used the windows default drivers for the 360 pad...

I plugged my 360 controller in, Windows installed drivers automatically and i've used it since then with no problems. Never tried the XBCD drivers. What do they do that the Microsoft drivers don't?

Is this with Pro Evo?

I may try uninstalling XBCD drivers and try the native ones.

pro evo 5 i just stuck controllers in, went to pro evo 5 options and changed controls, no faffing about lol. Try it without drivers

You can reconfigure all the buttons/triggers/sticks to pretty much any way you like. also it makes the rumble work if a game supports rumble plus the lights around the X logo are put right and you can set the dead zone size for each stick.

What do you means any way you like? I can already set any button to what I want in PES. And I don't want rumble. And I don't need lights. And the deadzones are fine for PES. :D

So i'm guessing for PES they aren't needed?

My reply was to this question not about what PES will let you configure
I was not talking about what one game will let you do, im talking about for nearly all games that dont let you do everything you want where you can make changes with XBCD that you cant with the Microsoft drivers. With the XBCD drivers you can have the full functionality of the 360 contoller as intended if you wish. A deadzone adjustment is very important in some games & nothing worse than not being able to easily hold a strait line because the stick is not 100% centring and needs a bigger dead zone.Deadzone at driver level is much better than in game deadzone
