This game is a joke sometimes. Somebody runs into my player...knocks him over he takes AGES to get up. Then there's auto player selection it's crap it picks the person in the stupidest position ever...

Goddamn this game ANNOYS the hell outta me. I know you can select players on your players yourself. Also...sometimes when playin online my game stops and starts...like freezes for 5 seconds and carrys on..?

It's probably lag but it's a weird way to show it.
 
It is got to do with the settings you are using, the stamina of your player, his stats, how fit he is on the day of the match etc. :)


Lagging can be slightly fixed by changing the channel on you router if you catch what i mean. It would still lagg but see an improvement. Mines laggs around 2half period.
 
yeah i agree, PES6 is the best football game i played since Kick Off or Sensible Soccer

but it does have some VERY annoying things and can be really frustrating (on the 360), e.g. both of your players try to header the same ball, taking a player out of postion.

Also the off the ball AI is incredible daft, none of the players make any runs, sometimes they just stand there, or run next to you.

Talking about off the ball movement, do you need to tell your players to make a run? if so whats the controls on the 360 for it?

The lag isn't on my end...ping etc are fine...i think it must be when i play someone with a naff connection BUT could my 360 be on its way out? It's a launch box.
 
I dont have much problems with the AI runs, just set up their attacking and defending roles how you wish and they tend to be where they should and make the runs you want.
 
I agree the auto player change is extremely frustrating. You can turn it off, to manual, on the PS2 but I can't find how to do it on the 360.
 
Also - an opp player runs through, one of my players tracks him - so I select the nearest player and he ****ing stops the ****. Jesus my blood is boiling :D

I've just turned my 360 off in rage mid game because it became so frustrating.
