Pro Evo Or Fifa?

I tried the Fifa demo and didn't like it that much ( ps3 )

I'm waiting for pro evo :cool:

What is everyone else doing?

Playing FIFA 08 at the moment, its great, which will be better remains to be seen but loads of us are really enjoying FIFA.

Fifa 08. Its the better of the two games judging from the demos/release. PES needs a kick up the ass fast.

PES and FIFA players are from different planets and will always be biased towards their game of choice. Btw, i'm a PES man myself and FIFA sucks.

Prefer Pro Evo in the long run though

Played Fifa 08 for hours on Wii. At first, it was great but as I played more often, the ghosts of the old FIFA series is beginning to haunt me!

Even without trying out PES demo, it is almost as if Pro Evo Soccer 08 is a safe bet!

Play PES6 right now but also have PES5,4 and 3.

I only ever buy one or the other. Last year I bought Pro Evo and got Fifa for free, and I may pick up Pro Evo at some point over the course of the next few months but wont be rushing out to buy either.

On my shelf beside me I have: PES 1,3,4,5 (PS2), PES6 (psp/ds), Fifa WC06 (PS2), Fifa 07 (PS2/360), Fifa08 (360) and Sensible Soccer 06. I like football games a bit.

I'm currently playing FIFA and still play Pro Evo 3 and 4 regularly. I won't be buying Pro Evo 2008.

4 was the peak for PES, and what a peak it was.

Fifa 08 controls on the PC have changed, thus making it an utterlly rubbish game

That's half true. I must admit I am enjoying 08, after putting the time into it to get used to it that is. Hated the demo.

Which is pretty much why I won't bother with 2008. I've bought the last 2 even though they weren't anywhere near as good, decided I might as well just stick with 4 until they at least get close to it.

Fifa 08 is very good, I am currently loving playing it online. It's a great experience, especially when you start pulling off tricks to create space.

PES2008 was basically PES6 with some nice changes. I'll no doubt get it, but I do worry that it's too much like PES6 (which isn't a good thing).

From initial play I thought it was worse than 6, with 6 being a pretty poor entry in the series in the first place.
