Pro Evo Question

IS Pro Evo 5 for the PC any good, havnt played the PS2 version since PE2.
How well does it work when using a PS2 Pad?

its a great game and can look fantastic if you ask someone to send you there option file

also i dont use the ps2 pad i use a joytech one but its just a replica of a xbox controller, all in all great game

Brilliant game !! Even better with the superpatches applied

I use PS2 pads with a usb adapter,no problem

PC version is much better than the PS2 version, especially with the Wolf superpatch if you can get it. I think the superpatch has been pulled off most sites because of copyright problems, still a great game without the patch though.

What exacly do the patches do, i'm not shy of delving into the config file either.

I'm pretty sure they give you up to date teams and proper kits etc. I'm sure theres more they can do aswell though.

The same as it does on PS2, except with easier online access, much easier to get mods for it, etc etc

Just go and buy it, you wont regret it...

Most of the patches dont work online, but with Kitserver you can get all the real kits and use them online, also LODmixer allows you to up the graphics a little bit which is nice

They do if you just install the original online database after you've patched which means you get all the right team names/kits online but the default players. However, when you play offline everything is updated so you get the best of both worlds.
