Pro Evo Ranked game abuse

I was playing a guy the other day, it was a good game but I just edged the win 3-2 ( a rarity for me ).

Anyway, I get a message from the Scouse fella telling me that I was a lucky ******* . That I only had 2 more shots on target than he did and that I should learn to play the game and stop being a ******** ****.

Charming....

I didnt think anymore of the game once it had finished. I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

I have only just started playing ranked matches, and I cant believe how unsporting people are. People disconnecting, and the verbal abuse that I got when I came back from 3 down to win 4-3... again I got lucky.. I am nowhere near being constitently average player. I go from being brilliant to absolutely getting trounced, but I take it all with good grace..

By the way, the abuser is Johnnyboy1974.. If thats his birthdate he is 33 years old. He should really grow up.. he could have been sending that torrent of bad language to a child... honestly!!!

Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of [Language!] playing Pro Evo. Completely destroyed the game for me.

Shame some people hate loosing, i dont really mind - got [Language!] 5-0 on Fifa 07 the other night, still good fun.

Danny wooped me 3-1 otherday and despite the score was a relatively close match

agreed people take it far to seriously i admit i get annoyed sometimes playing it but i will finish my match then go play someone else i never disconnect although i may foul a lot due to frustration i have even had five payers sent off and lost the game because of this twice

i dont use the headset so if they say anything i dont hear it

tonight for example getting beat 1-0 scored a excellent flowing goal about ten passes finished with a delicate if slightly flukey lob then another good passing move played it wide crossed and scored with a header in the middle of the replay it hung five minutes later he disconnected this wasn't even a ranked match

only thing to do is take it as a sign that your playing is improving and they can't take it

Sad but true, abuse and cheating is rife in pro evo online, just get the 100 wins achievement and play unranked from then on is my advice.

Yeah I wouldn't touch ranked again. I rarely even plugged my headset in when playing them. I hope they dont have that achievement in 7

Used to play PES5 online using my PC and there were these sorts of tossers on every night. Put me off playing in the end.

Welcome to the wonderful world of online gaming. Whatever the date, console or genre, abuse is everywhere. Just accept it as part of the game and don't worry too much.

I have been gaming Online for many years ... I know all about what kind of people it brings.

What I find funny is people getting silly and upset over a game..

Oh and yeah I am improving.. played absolutely brillantly tonight with Valencia... loving it at the moment, and looking forward to the league thats being organised.

, Remove your headset then, or mute them.

I dont care if they abuse, if they even speak to me during the game i knock the ball out of play, Media button, Mute. Unpause and knock 4 in past him.

Any abuse and he gets a complaint from to xbox live about his language.

There are some decent players, I have played nearly 200 ranked matches and have come across some decent guys, but like you said some are pathetic but its like any online game.

I usually wind oppositions up if there being idiots, it usually involves making them watch my goals about 100 times in slow mo if there a complete arse

I gave up ranked when i got to 100 wins - i had so many mexican standoffs to see who would quit first, it was brutal and not much fun.

The annoying thing was people cheating even after they had their own 100 wins, obviously just to rank up, it sickened me.

True, but it always seems worse when it's 1v1 rather than team based.

Yeh I can imagine, that's why I stay clear from 1v1 games (unless it's a friend of course)

I find there are a lot of prats on GoW.
Halo 2 it was the Yanks who'd be dishing out the derogatory comments, but it seems to be the Brits who are the worse on Gears!

Never take any abuse you get seriously. a lot, if not most people i know who own a 360 have bought or use their headset so they can abuse other people verbally over the internet. They arn't bad people, but they just love doing that.

When i first played on the internet about 10 years ago and came across abuse it shocked me really badly, i reported every single bit of abuse i got, these days it's just the norm and i can ignore it easily.
