prob with battlefield 2

basically i have an audigy se card but when i run bf2 the voices in game are stuttering all the time but the game sounds are ok anybody know how to fix this

You need to run it in software audio mode

Leave it on hardware but change the audio quality to medium. Solved the problem for me although the latest BF2 patch lets me run it on high just fine. Not that it makes any difference in quality!

That's strange then...

The Audigy SE is specifically listed on the BF2 FAQ as not compatible with hardware audio mode. Which is in line with my experiences, whatever the other settings, hardware audio will not work correctly. All the sound effects are fine (if a bit on the loud side) but the voices are broken up with what sounds like stuttering...

Is it just english dialog or both foreign and english dialogs ?
