Probably a simple question

I have a basic HP Proliant MicroServer which has

PCIe2X16 25w slot free

I need to pick up a card tomorrow so wondering the above is pretty standard, i mean are pcworld likely to have one? Never paid much attention to NIC

I am guessing it simple means PCIe 2.0

Any PCIe network card will fit a Microserver as long as it has a low profile bracket.

It already has a Gb network port on it. Mine can easily sustain 115MB+ so it's not lacking.

They are poo usually.

There's a dynamode one on there. Go ask in the store to take a look in the box. I'd have done it when I worked there in the late 90s, no reason they won't allow it now.
