Probably a stupid question, what do you call a video capture card

As title says,
I am trying to record the output from a dvi/hdmi output from a pc on a second machine (so there is no performance hit on the first by using apps like fraps)
But i cant find what they are called (asuming they exist)

I tried video capture card, but that brings up many analogue choices but nothing digital

Ideally i would like a method of capturing component (the red green blue one) but this is not essential

Oh, I do recall there is a special name for it, and its something silly like "hotbox" or something...sorry I can't help.
