This may make me sound brain dead but I have not built a PC since CD/Rom & DVD drives were an essential part of the build. Now I see that the new builds don't have them but the operating systems for sale on Overclockers are on DVD. So how to you install them on a pc with no drive? Is this a case of buying a stand alone drive or are they sold on USBs now?

You only really need the key, not the DVD, since you can easily create the USB installation media yourself using the tool Microsoft provide.

Yep. You can try it with a non working PC, but you wont get very far ;):D I jest, but yeah just use a friends :) Use either the official Microsoft app to do it, or Rufus.
Sounds like a small external DVD drive is the way to go. They are very cheap at £15-£30 & it gives me the option of burning cds onto Itunes later on.
