Probably an easy PSU question.

Hi there

At work we have a number of PC's with bust PSU's. The machines are about 3-4 years old and I would assume have an ATX power supply. On close inspection these ones have the 20 pin connector but are a bit longer than your average PSU. Are all ATX PSU's the same height (I would assume so with case standards etc). The machines are desktop pc's and not the "tower" variety.

Thanks for your time.

ATX have had many changes in standard but may vary in size of depth. However, all have the same screw orientation at the rear so they can be place in any case. Should be fine.

check this out http://www.pcguide.com/ref/power/sup/form_ATX.htm

I have a spare ATX at home so I might just bring it in and see if it fits as mine looks like a more bog standard one.

Thanks for your help.
