No. They prefer guilty by posts - less work for the court. Hmmm....just been looking at the www.pepipoo.com forums and looks like unless I am over 50 (which I am not) most likely will be an FNP!

i thought they loved throwing the book at young drivers...hency why we only have 6pt licences....hell if insurance companies can make a ton off us, its only fair the courts do

How could it possibly be stupid "just because"? Driving the wrong way down a one-way round is stupid. Reversing up a sliproad is stupid. Doing 50 in a 30 where everyone is doing 50, that's as big as an airfield, just because there's a number in a red circle, may not, necessarily, be stupid.

You don't have to lecture me on speed limits, either. I don't abide by a single one of them, so I don't really care anyway

Strange...according to the police officers that wrote this, they tend to think it works a lot better to present yourself in court...

50 in a 30 for me. Fixed penalty was issued despite everyone telling me it would be a summons.
That said, I tried going down the PACE route as per the guidance of peppipoo and ended up in court anyway. :rolleyes:
