Problem Booting Computer

Hey guys, wondered if you could help me.

Recently, i have had some problems booting up my computer. I keep getting the message "no boot disk is attached" on boot up.

I thought at first it might be a loose cable as turning the PSU off, unplugging all the HDD cables and re-attaching seemed to solve the problem.

However this is happening more and more frequently now. When the computer is up and running it is fine, but it just has problems booting.

I have a feeling this could be a PSU issue, and wondered if this made sense to people here before i fork out on a new one.

Cheers

I'd do an image/backup your hard drive while you still can. Could be a HD issue.

I did think it could be the hard drive. However over the last year or so, i have gone though about 4-5 storage HDD as they keep on breaking. I'm thus starting to think that it is an underlying issue like a PSU problem which is cause the problems.

When the computer boots everything is fine. No weird clicking of the HDD etc indicating a problems etc.
