Left my pc on for a while and left it to go out shopping. On return I found it in low power mode (sleep state) but was unable to get it to switch back on by moving the mouse or touching the keyboard. In fact there was nothing except the sound of the the fan whiring in the background. I tried a hard reboot by flicking the power switch at the back of the psu and found it took at least three attempts at a hard boot before I got the screen windows is resuming. Anybody have any ideas? The mobo is a ds3r. Previously ACPI was set to S3(STR) which I have now changed to S1(pos) are there any other settings in the bios that should be selected to potentially avoid having this problem again? Thank you :)
