Bit of a noob so please bear with me. I've just installed a new mobo(see sig). Connected everything properly and working fine, then i started getting BSOD's after installing Vista Prem(unfortunatley I didn't get any screenshots,my bad) after updating the drivers for the mobo and graphics cards it seemed to work fine. After a few hang ups I did what I shouldn't have and flashed the BIOS(I know to leave it well alone, but it worked on my last computer) so I thought I would try again. Unfortunately the system froze halfway through the EEPROM, I did leave for 30mins to see if it would finish, it did not!!. Now it wont even post, I have tried to clear the CMOS via the manual, but that was 2 days ago and it still wont boot. I have looked on OcUK to find a similar situation for an answer, but I wont try it unless I certain it will help.

Can anyone offer some sound advice, as I dont want to do anything else in case I damage anything. Thoughts will be very welcome.

You will need the BIOS reprogrammed if it is removable you are in luck... there are several services who will do it for you, and perhaps forum members with the same board..

There is a chance you can flash it in any other mobo you have around, and there is also a slim chance of blind flashing it. http://www.wimsbios.com/faq.jsp#q9

Otherwise you are hosed, but not permantly so.
