problem bout my screen when i OC

OK i got another 4gb of OCZ reaper for my pc...everytime i OC and restart the pc... the screen goes to sleep mode..any ideas why?

the pc sees the full 8gb it has but still nothing bout OC my chip still.. so its all set to stock settings.

mobo is Asus P5Q-SE2
OS Vista 64bit
 
Yeah. But I'm not going to tell you, because you started the same thread twice in two forums, which is rude, and because it'll be trivially answered through Google, which is annoying.

Ah, now I feel bad. You're either looking for "set ram voltage to what's written on the sticks" or "more northbridge voltage needed when adding more sticks".

The latter is bad advice really, you're better off overclocking from scratch when changing the amount of ram. Throwing more voltage at things isn't often a very good solution though it may work. Default ram voltage is 1.8V, which reaper wont run 1066mhz at. So you'll want reset to defaults, then change ram voltage to 2.05 or so, then start upping the fsb.

Expect your maximum overclock to go down a bit too, the northbridge is under more stress with four sticks so tends to throw errors earlier. Should still make it over 3.1ghz though. Typo in your sig btw.
