I just bought a load of equipment for a new PC, including one of these http://www.sunbeamtech.com/PRODUCTS/cooler/cctf92.html
Sadly, the retention bracket doesn't appear to fit into my X58 chipset motherboard.
On their website they have a seperate retention bracket for i7 processors. Is this needed to attach it to my motherboard?
The locking pins don't appear to go in all the way with the current bracket. Do they need more of a push, or is it a bracket problem?
My standard i7 cooler fits perfectly, so I'll be using that in the mean time.
