Problem connecting to servers - CS

Hey all,

Got a bit of a problem with CS at the moment, i can find servers fine with great pings but i cannot connect to a single server, it just keeps retrying without succeeding.
I'm on NTL 4mb going through a router (Im currently in the DMZ), does anyone know what ports i could trying forwarding (not that it should matter :confused:

)

I also can't connect to any servers through CS Source so it seems to be steam as a whole.

Any help would be great

have you just recently baught the game? or have you just had it for a while and now its just gone all funny?

if your having problems with ports then you should look on the steam help system to see what ports are needed in the running of there online games like CS.

if you have had the game for some time and has just recently messed up, then you should think about what recent things have changed on your computer that may be segnificant to gaming, or your router, has it updated it's self recently?

Hmm, i did the Steam test and it said all ports were open and absolutely fine. I have just moved into another house with another router but i figure im in the DMZ so nothing should be blocking it, i can also ping the servers just fine and see whos playing.

Looks like its a steam reinstall

have you tried playing the game with you not in the DMZ?
