Problem downloading apps on iphone

Guys, hopefully you can help me out.

I had no problems downloading anything from the app store with my iphone, but today I decided to change my email address that I use for itunes.

Having done this, I synced the iphone again and all seemed to be fine. That was until I went to download a free app from the app store.

It appears to be working as normal, then as it tries to install, all I get it a message on screen telling me that I have to connect to itunes via the PC to install the app, as it could not de downloaded from the app store.

Any ideas what's happening here?

I have so far tried turning the phone off and on, syncing it again, but no go. I'm lost, and I could do without the hassle of a complete reset.
 
Is it one particular app or a number of them?

Some apps will only d/l to a PC as they are deamed too large to go over the network.


Aurora F is one such that I can think of.
 
Hmmm, something is clearly not right here. Been trying to load tap tap revenge for last 15 minutes. Okay it's on GPRS connection, but that's awefully slow. :(

It was Labyrinth LE, would that be it?
 
Oh **** this is a pile of nonsense! I can't download anything at all. It sticks in the 'loading' phase then comes up with a message 'unable to download application...will be available when you log in to the iTunes store on your computer'

Looks like a complete reset is next. :(
 
Yeah the accounts matched up perfect. It started to work fine again last night, so I can only assume it takes a little while for the account to register the change of address properly and link them together.

Weird though.
