Just installed Vista x32 and on the install process it gave me the option to set up the drives partitions, but could choose any options. Therefore, after Vista installed all drives were visable but on as Basic volumes and I have 3 but want to strip two and use the third as a backup. But when I right click the drives in disk manager the only thing I can do is delete, shink the volume. I can extend it to put C: as one drive striped for performance. Any advice approeciated.

Now I may be wrong since I can't check on a Vista box at the moment but I didn't think you could stripe basic volumes and only the business and ultimate versions support dynamic volumes. I also have a feeling that you can't boot from a striped volume, at least you couldn't with NT.
