Problem finding the 'Options' menu in Firefox

Title says it all really, I have searched all the tabs across the top of the page (Yes, including tools - where it should be) and it doesn't seem to be there. Not sure if this belongs here but I'm on a linux OS and there isn't a browser section of this forum.
I'm using Ubuntu (10.40 LTS) if that is of any use.

For some reason, in Linux you need to click Edit -> Preferences.

As opposed to setting options? My point was that it's inconsistent across platforms.

It's just a convention that has been set differently in each OS.

Windows users are used to having a tool to set options, Linux users are used to editing preferences. So Mozilla let each have their respective cakes.
