problem - fullscreen but not fullscreen

i loaded up bf3 and it was fine - all settings maxed running at 1920x1200 in fullscreen

i changed something but not when it is still 1920x1200 and in fullscreen - the task bar and windows border are showing over the game. I clicked the maximise/minimise button on the top right and it doesnt change at all. any ideas?

Maybe press Alt + Tab to select the game again.

Could also be an option to play game in Windowed Mode?

Do you have Steam being "always on top", or some other program?
