Problem in Gta:Sa

I was playing san andreas for about an hour up to a few minutes ago, I had just saved the game when the screen went blue and all this text came up saying, something along the lines of some sort of error and the computer was going to be shut down to prevent damage! Thats about all the info i got before the computer restarted.
This is the second time this has happened, the other time was a few days ago, but only in san andreas no other game does this.
Anyone got any ideas why this is happening?

well i only built the pc a week or 2 ago so everything is up to date

how would i go about checking to see if my ethernet drivers are up to date?
and how do i update them?

If i run memtest can i use the pc while its running or do i have to leave it run by itself?
