Hi guys,

I have a Asus Crosshair Formula Z board and everything was fine until i turned my computer on today. The internet was fine on it until i played around with the overclocking on my system and then it wouldn't connect or detect a connection at all. After trouble shooting it, windows stated that no drivers were installed for it, so i took the motherboard disk and attempt to re-install the drivers. The intel install then proceeded to tell me no network adapter was on the computer. Is it possible it has fried? or will a complete windows install solve the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Download a live Linux dvd like Mint or Ubuntu.

See if it works in that.

Check iit's enabled in the bios.

Sorted it at some how it had disabled itself in the bios :s I don't know as I have never gone anywhere the onboard settings on the motherboard and didn't even know you could disable it :s

Thanks anyway though :)
