i have had this game for a while and yes it was very disappointing. something like a 1 and half hour storyline lol.

so i dug it out the other day as im bored as hell with the games i play and dont have any RTS games on this computer yet. got my external CD/DVD drive and used that to run the install. the install always just gets stuck halfway through. i can hear the drive still sounding like its installing/reading but it doesnt move.

any ideas? worked fine when i done it on my computer about a year or 2 ago. but it was windows 7 back then.
 
You should be able to use your key code on origin and just download the game which saves the installing from the cd.
 
after going through the rig marole (thats what it sounds like never had to spell it before) of phoning them, seems i used googlemail instead of gmail for my account back then but now i have both lol. checked my account for the game he says it is on the googlemail one but after looking at putting the code in it isnt there. he then decides to give me the ultimate collection and loads them onto my account. so now instead of just cnc4 i have 10 cnc games lol. should sate my boredom for a few months.
 
It's an omen. The powers that be are trying to stop you from replaying this garbage. It's to C&C as to what McDonalds is to fine cuisine.
