hi,

trying to installl football manager on my brothers computer, he has vista installed on it and when he tries to do it it comes up with

---------------------------
InstallShield Wizard
---------------------------
The installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with the -console or -silent flag.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

anyone know what that means?

thanks

working on vista RC2 here.

i did notice that it gave a cancelling aero message when the installer was . . . installing. but then it reverted back to aero afterwards and it is fine to install/play the game?

Basically run the installer EXE with the -console -silent switch. So go to

Run -> Type "cmd" > cd D:\(or whatever your cdrom drive is) -> Find the location of the installer file and type the filename in with the switches.

fm07installer.exe -console -silent (or whatever it is)

Strange. Just create a shortcut to the installer. Place that on your desktop and the edit the properites and add the tag to the end of the target.
