Hi guys,

I'm a long time Windows user, but have dabbled very lightly with Linux in the past. I've just recently installed the latest version of Linux Mint.

I'm trying to install UT GOTY and have come across a bit of a stumbling block. Hopefully someone can help?

I downloaded the linux installed for UT which is called ut-install-436-goty.run

I've placed that file on my desktop and followed some instructions I found here

So I've got to the point where I run bash ut-install-436-goty.run and it launches a nice GUI installation window. I've hit Begin Installation and it appears to start to install, then I'm prompted "Please mount the Disc One CDROM. Choose Yes to retry or No to cancel".

So I thought there was some problem with the installer accessing the CD. I used mkdir to create the directory /media/CDROM and then I ran the command mount /dev/cdrom /media/CDROM which seems to have mounted the drive correctly as far as I can tell. I can browse to that folder and view the contents of the cd.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? No matter what I do it wants me to insert the disc.

Oh sorry I forgot to mention I did that, but when I run the GUI setup I still get the same message.
