Problem loading saved game.

hi guys, well before i installed vista i backed up all my save game files for my games so i could just load up from where i left off, most games it worked fine but on need for speed carbon the game wont load " error loading game"

Any ideas what could be causing this ? ?

A guess, but is it patched to the same version as before.

the previous install was a backed up copy, this new install is a proper disk the game was never patched before ? its annoying cuz i had 89% complete.
