Problem making a CD Bootable

I've burnt the following files to a CD using Nero (at Max speed), yet when I start my PC with the correct boot sequence in the BIOS, the PC won't boot off the CD. This isn't the first time I've had this problem and I'm wondering if I'm missing a trick somewhere along the line. Here are the files on the CD:

Folders -
I386

Files -
Autorun (which reads [Autorun] /open=setup.exe/icon=setup.exe,0)
Setup
Win51
Win51IP
Win51IP.sp3
MR49R-DRJXX.....etc

The Autorun is working because when I'm in Windows and insert the CD, the familiar "Welcome to Windows xp..." screen appears.

Any help MUCH appreciated. Thanks

If you're trying to make a bootable OS CD you'll want an image (.iso for example) not a bunch of files on a disc - that would be the easier way. Then you just tell Nero or IMGBurn or whatever to burn the image via the relevant option and it all gets done for you.

The files are .exe not iso

The 4 original rar files I downloaded don't produce an iso file so...has the person who's posted the prog made the error in not generating an iso, or can I produce an iso from the files I have downloaded, that when burnt with the appropriate program, will produce the bootable CD?

What are you attempting to make the CD "boot" into?

What version of Nero are you using?

Did you select the option in Nero to make it bootable when you created the CD?

If you're trying to create a Windows install CD your best option is to use an image as has been said.

a) we don't talk about warez here
b) you're a noob at warez

If you want it to work correctly, and actually have no money, then grab the Windows7 public beta as it's free.
