Problem mapping NAS drive

Just got a new Iomega NAS drive. Having a strange problem with the PC though and being unable to map the drive.

I have a laptop as well and there are no issues with that, maps just fine.

Both machines are running Windows 7 and all connected to the same network. The PC can access the web interface of the drive and ping it, but cannot map the drive for some reason, says that the network location cannot be found.

Any ideas as to why the laptop could do it no problem but the PC can't?

That's what I was doing. As I said it works perfect on the laptop but not on the PC, it's really strange.

To map I was using (for example) \\192.168.1.18\Storage

Yes I can.

I can ping the drive, browse to the web interface, the Iomega software on the PC picks the drive up. The only problem is that I cannot map it as a network drive, even though it works fine on the laptop.

Just tried mapping the drive to another Windows 7 laptop and it worked first time no problem. The issue is definitely limited to the PC, I just don't know what's causing it.

Well I finally got to the bottom of this.

The Client for Microsoft Networks was, for some reason, not installed on that NIC. Installing this solved the issue. Thanks for the suggestions.
