Problem on MSI GX70

Hi all

hoping someone can help. Just fitted a new ssd to my laptop and done a new install of win 10 but now the power button only glows amber indicating its only using the discreet graphics and not the dedicated card which would make the power button glow white.

Any help appreciated.

Have you installed the latest gpu drivers?

Both GPUs listed in device manager?

I remember I had to install a specific driver for my old A8 4500M for it to play nicely with the separate 7670m. I wouldn't trust Windows updates own AMD driver for that one.

I had the same problem when I downgraded to Windows 7 from 8.1 when I first got my MSI GS70, I seem to remember that the problem was cured by installing both the latest NVidia & Intel graphics drivers.

Both GPU's listed in device manager and latest catalyst drivers installed.
