Problem on startup

Hi, ive just built my computer. Ive started it up with the OS disk in it ready to load it up but my comp freezes on this screen..

any ideas?

Its now squeeling at me when i start it up..

Hve you told it to boot from disk or cant you get that far?

Is the squeeling coming fromthe hard drive? Open up the case and check.

My sytem temp is on 38C and CPU temp on 39C

This ok?

yeah thats fine. A bit hot for such a lowly clocked cpu but mobos never get the temperature right.

Wheredid the squeeling come from? If your still getting stuck and cant install your os it could be your hard drive.

The sqeeling has stopped.

Now, it just freezes on the above screen again, when we insert OS disk it doesnt do anything.

dont insert the disk yet. Take it out. Go into the bios and find the boot options. Tell it to boot from disk. Restart put the disk in an dtry that.

Have you got anything else which came with the mobo taht you were ment to install first?

Hi, If your installing the the operating system for the first time you need to access the BIOS and change the boot priority to the DVD drive first,
this will read the disk and then asks you to continue booting from the CD by pressing any key.
