Hello there,

This is just a minor problem thats been bothering me for a while. when i start up after about 5 seconds everything switches of, the fans spin down and then it starts again and boots up fine. This happens something like 1 in 5 startups which is strange. I guess it will require a lot of problem solving which i just wont bother doing but if its something obvious would be nice to fix

Thanks

If your overclocked then its the cold boot issue, sometimes a BIOS update fixes this.

I have boards in the past which have done this.

Its overclocked, and ive tried to flash the bios before and it nearly went wrong because i used msi's utility. Is it a problem like it is?
The other day for the first time it just hung at the bios splash screen till i reset it which mad eme make this post

You should be fine, I used my boards for years doing this with this.

Sometimes my overclock throws a wobbler!

Try updating using a USB at boot rather than through Windows.

Just ran Msi live update 5 utility which can update the bios from n.3 to n.7. would you reccomend the usb way because iam not sure exactly how to do it
