I frequently connect my laptop to monitors and tvs etc and haven't ever had any problems with any of it.7
However connecting it to my TV is fine until I try and launch a game. Fifa 2011 for example only works properly at 800x600 and when it's any higher from 1024x768 to 1080p the bottom off the screen flashes different colours and then middle of the screen is halved, like no vsync enabled.
I've tried other HDMi leads and other sockets on the TV and the problem only arises once a game is launched.
Any ideas? Cheers x
