Problem overclockers forum pages

Can anyone help with a problem I got please?

Some web pages will not resolve until I have hit F5 about 5 times and I can't figure out why.

Heres how it looks when I try and browse these forums

What ISP?

What DNS servers are being used on your router?

Browser is internet explorer 8 and its from work and its only my pc that has the problem

Sounds like DNS is messed up, reboot your router, see if it gets a new DNS server or get an alternative one (most ISPs have at least two you can use.)

I cant reboot the router or change the dns because this is on a work pc. However it works fine for the guy sat next to me.

Any ideas?

Malware/Spyware scan?

Your HOSTS file may have been modified?

HOSTS file was mess it up constantly, it wouldn't work if he keeps refreshing, you can be sat next to each other with different DNS settings. If you're at work - call I.T.? or check DNS on each pc?

Had a thought - different proxy settings?

Try clearing your browsers cache or a hard refresh CTRL+F5

Or prehaps logout/login again.

none of that worked guys and i can't call IT, this website is not work related!

any more ideas?
