Problem overclocking C2D Cpu

Hey im following this guide http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17612922

Overclocking a Intel Core 2 Duo E2160. When i increase the FSB from 204 to 210Mhz its fine and runs fine in sp2004. However when i inceased to 215mhz nothing boots and the Mother board needs reseting.

Any ideas? could i be that i increased by 6 the first time should i go in 5's?

Couldnt dig up anything on those threads. Anyone got any other ideas? Could my motherboard or something eles be faulty?

It doesnt beep or anything, just the graphics dont load on the monitor.

Went in at 300 and got horrible beeps and no boot.

One other thing ive noticed with this mobo is when i power up it powers up breifly for about 5-10 secounds then shuts down then powers up proply :confused:

Fix the boot problem?

I will flash then but surely that wont help the overclocking?

Booted at 215 with just one stick of memory. Gunna try go higher now.

Nope just tried to boot at 270MHz and no boot.

Anyone got any other ideas? CPU temp is 23degrees idle so it cant be overheating.

Tried several differnt setups with single stick and both together

. Perfectly stable and clock and up to 210 but seems to totaly cut off after that. Any ideas?

May sound like a stupid question but what Memory Ratio is your RAM set at? The OcUK Value stuff isn't likely to clock very far, especially with just 1.8V. In BIOS change your Memory Ratio/Divider to 1:1 and try and continue further.
