Problem playing GTA IV online

Hello,

When I try to connect to a game online I get the "connecting" thing spinning in the bottom right then an error message "Disconnected from game session"

This stops me from being able to join other servers completely.

I can however, create a party, invite friends and play but this is obviously not ideal.

Any ideas how to fix my problem?

I couldn't play this game online on PC at all.

Yep you need an Open NAT, UPNP enabled, certain ports may need opening as well (its all down to how you have your router/isp setup at home)firewall exceptions for both GTA4 exe & GFWL client.

Go here its much quicker as MS have US based staff ready to help you!

Once your PC is configured any GFWL game you own will work flawlessly in future. This is only something you should ever need to do once BTW.
