Problem...................PLS Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This happens about once every 5 times I turn my pc on

When i turn on my pc and it boots and it gets to the part where the windows logo is shown on screen just as the logo is about to come on the monitor goes blank but the monitor light stays on constant and does not flash

If anyone could help i would be most grateful

Have you tried booting in safemode and seeing if it works? if so there may be something loading on startup that is causing the issue, try running msconfig in safemode (if it allows you) and unselectng the siftware that is loading on start up.

Also have you any USB devices plugged in you can unplug?
