I recently build my father a computer with a Gigabyte Z77-DS3H Intel Z77 motherboard (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-401-GI) one of his main requirements was to be able to record from his computer, i.e. record online radio programs, as he use to do this on his old computer without a problem.
I cannot find any way to do this on his computer, I got it working on my computer by going to control panel-->sound->manage audio devices and then showing disabled devices and enabling the "Stereo Mix" option. Unfortunately his does not have this option.
So my question is does anyone have any idea how I can get this working if it possible or could anyone recommend a cheap sound card that would enable him to do.
He is running. Windows 8
