Problem Removing Boot Camp

I had bootcamp installed on my Macbook Pro, but I didn't need it anymore, so I removed it using the option on the Boot Camp Assistant program in OS X.
However whenever I start my computer unless i hold ALT down it will still try to boot into windows where it comes up with a DOS like screen where it says 'no disk' or something like that.
I have to hold down the power button and re-boot, then hold down alt and click OS X (which is now the only option) to get into OS X.

Has anyone had this problem before?

Go to system preferences, Startup Disk (in the System row)

Make sure the correct disk is highlighted, you probably have nothing selected.

That should do you.
