Hi

I am trying to get my CX 3600 scanner working (its an all in one type) and I cannot open the scan program. When I went into photoshop to see if I could open it, it told me that it cannot open the TWAIN source. Is it possible that I may have turned the service off for this? I have XP pro SP2. Any help would be really apreciated :)

When I've had a similar error before, it meant that the PC hadnt detected the scanner. Is it visible in device manager? Is it turned on.....;)
Check those things first - maybe unplug and plug back in the USB cable, see if windows detects it, then see if you can run the program? If no joy, try uninstalling and re-installing the prog? I doubt SP2 would effect it at all.
Good luck!

The printer is running fine on it, thats what I dont understand! I'll have tried to re-install the scan program but still no joy. Ill have a look at the cable.

Oh I was just wondering if there should be an entry in the windows\TWAIN_32 directory? All that the program has entered is a folder called escndv
