Hi guys,

Having a problem trying to put my monitor(s) into 1080i, The option appeared after purchasing my second monitor and plugging it today, However, when I try and set the resolution the screens are just flickering?

I am trying to do this through the nvidia control panel and the 1080i option is under HD, SD.

I have two Dell ultrasharp u2311h's running both with DVI cables from a nvidia GTX 275.

Any advice appreciated!

Why are you trying to use 1080i and not 1080p

Can you not this set the res as normal to 1920x1080@60hz ??

That is what the resolution is set at currently "native" 1920 x 1080 and no problems, I was just under the impression with the option for HD that the 1080i would be better quality? There isnt a option for 1020p.

Thanks.

The HD & SD options are for when you connect to a normal TV (LCD/plasma)

Using the 1920x1080@60hz normal option is far better then 1080i ;)
