Problem with 3Dmark 05 + 06 + PcMark 05

When i try and run 3DMark 05 and 06 i get an error, which says

'IDirect3DDevice9:resent failed: Device lost (D3DERR_DEVICELOST)'

also when i run PCMark 05 when it gets to the 3D and Physics part it aborts the test.


Does anybody have any i deas why this is happening?

System Specs

X2 3800 @ 2.4
X1800XT @ Stock
2Gb OCZ

Have you tried updating your drivers? I had a similar problem a while ago and a driver update fixed it.

yeah ive got Catayst 6.7 and the latest version of DirectX End-User Runtime, i also have the AMD Dual-Core Optimizer.
